My Room
So far I am looking forward to the winter because when the time comes, I am going to design a room in my basement, and fill it with my favorite things such as antiques and nostalgia that I have collected over the years, so it would be my "Personal Museum" if you will, and hopefully it would come out the way I hope, and it would be my sanctuary. What kid doesn't want to have their own "cool" room in their house? Am I right? Try to imagine a good amount of "things" that make you happy. Then, Imagine you put them on display in a room with lights and music and television, and put them in a dull room. It can't be hard to imagine because that is your "Happy Place" and nobody can disturb you there. I hope I can get people excited, and inspire them to design their own rooms the way they like. It's about time the kids get a say in what the house can look like; right? Please, do think about it. It will help if times get tough.
Ginger Pride Parade
Scrolling through the list of stories on bigthink.com, I have recently come across a story that was very interesting. A homo sexual comedian by the name of Shawn Hitchens, also a ginger, created a "Ginger Pride" parade to show that all the gingers of the world must stick together. He, himself was an outcast because he was a ginger... and a homo sexual. This is something that a lot of people can relate to, only in the sense of feeling left out, not being a ginger or a homo sexual. I remember watching the episode of South Park when they first came out with the word "Ginger" when one of the main characters thought being ginger was a disease called "Gingervitis", a play on words of the mouth disease Gingivitis. I never knew that people with red hair and freckles take the word Ginger the wrong way, or they think it's funny and they joke about it. I know that there are gay-pride parades, I know that there is a thanksgiving day parade every year, but this is interesting; a Ginger parade. Here are some slogans that were advertised in the parade:
"All hail! The red, orange and pale!", "Ginger and proud!" and "It gets redder"

What really Bothers Me
In this particular blog post, I will be writing about what bothers me about the world today. I guess you can say that this is a rant, but these are just some of the things that bother me with the world today. I am not to pleased with my generation of teens and kids. I am not saying that I am bothered by EVERYBODY, but that I am just bothered by a large majority of children. First of all, Facebook. I am not saying that I hate it, but I am just saying that people post their free thought the wrong way. I am sure that Mark Zuckerberg intended for the site to be a way of finding people and making new friends. Our generation of teens use it to post horrible pictures of themselves that other people not only care about, but decrease the amount of respect other people have for him or her. I hate how everybody posts statuses about pointless observations that have nothing to do with anything, but just for the sake of people liking it or somebody posting an even more pointless comment. I do admit that I used to use Facebook regularly, but over time I began to think differently and figure out for myself that it is a circle that connects people in a way where if you are not in that circle, you will be alienated. I see statuses such as "Soooooo muchhhh Homeworkkk :(" and that really bothers me because if that person has a lot of homework, then shouldn't that person get off Facebook and do their homework? Look; I am just saying that this world would be a little bit better if people don't express pointless opinions, and stupid remarks. Thanks for reading!
What Makes Things Creepy?
I recently found a video on YouTube that discusses the concept of "Creepy". As a kid, I was always creeped out by clowns, Michael Jackson pictures, the dark, and the fear that somebody is behind me, even when there isn't. I was very interested in this video because I always wanted to understand the concept of "Creepy", because psychologically it is a burden on everybody, because everybody is creeped out by something. I began to question reality and the human mind. The guy in the video discusses how we are only scared of things, only because our mind wants us too. For example, when you see a clown, generally you are creeped out by it; but why? Well, when you see a person with a mask, you can't trust who they are. Psychologically, you are uncertain that the person wearing the mask would hurt you, or will not hurt you. Even when you are looking down from a high point or ledge, you reflexes stop you from jumping off or inching closer to see what it would be like to fall off. Your mind and reflexes battle it out until your reflexes usually win and tell you not to jump. I really found this interesting because I find myself doing this myself whenever I face situations such as this. I am glad I did this because I hope this will answer questions that you guys have yourself about the concept of "Creepy"

My name is Christopher Ace Inglima. I live in Long Island with my mother Karen, My father John, and my brother Nick. Growing up as the youngest person in my family, I was always thought of as a baby. My parents always saw me as the little baby because I guess I have that face that doesn't show maturity and no chiseled features. I always saw life as an opportunity to meet good people, and also to not take life too seriously because we are not here for very long, and we should live life to the fullest. Unfortunately, for me I've spent my whole life inside because I was never able to meet people with common interests.
Art has allowed me to escape a bad day. Whether It was the fact that I've failed a test, or my teachers gave me a hard time, I always reverted back to making crafts, and drawings in my room, just to alleviate the stress. Last year in the ninth grade, I took studio art. Our assignment was to construct a sculptor out of recycled materials. I loved to make three dimensional objects, so I jumped on the chance to do something with cardboard. My first thought was to make a motorcycle, which I did. I had never worked on anything more in my life, and it made me happy. When I finished it, I felt so good about myself, and the teacher gave me an A+. The only reason I enjoy sculpting and building, is because I was never good at drawing, but I made up for it with building. I don't have a specific inspiration, but I do admire the great sculptors of history and the beautiful art they made with their hands.
My father is a contractor. He always loves to see the outcome of something that he had made. I guess I inherited these traits from him because I am the exact same way. Whenever I get into that creative mode where I am determined to make something work, or make a dream a reality, I wont stop until I do so. If I work with a partner, I would have to know if he is doing the work that I want him or her to do. So I usually work better alone and what I work towards comes of better when I work alone. That is my story. Who knows. Maybe there are people who are just like that. Just like me.
